Contacted to respond to Brimmer Ave and E. Jackson St. in New Holland for a vehicle that was off the roadway and into a house. We were advised that the porch roof was on top of the car and would need to be lifted so that the vehicle could be removed.
One of our heavy wreckers were dispatched to the scene.
The wrecker arrived and met with the Incident Commander. It was determined that the roof would be lifted and held while Martin’s Towing recovered the car from the porch of the house. The Fire Department would then place shoring under the roof to hold it in place.
The plan was successfully executed. Once the vehicle was removed and the roof shored in place, we cleared the scene.
