Contacted to respond to Lincoln Highway and Newport Road for a load of plate steel that needed to be shifted back in place after an accident.

Upon arrival of recovery supervisor, truck and trailer were partially blocking the travel lanes. Traffic control was set up to fully close lane and provide a safe work area for our personnel.

It was noticed that the tractors air lines to the trailer were damaged. At that point one of our tractors was dispatched to the scene as well.

Rotator arrived and set up on work platform. Plates were lifted individually and set onto the ground. The damaged tractor was pulled out from under the trailer. Our tractor hooked to the trailer. The trailer was repositioned to allow the plates to be reloaded.

The rotator then set the plates back onto the trailer.

Replacement straps were brought to scene to resecure the load. Chains and edge protectors were placed over load. Load was retarped.

The trailer was repositioned into the Rutter’s Truck Stop parking lot to await the arrival of a replacement tractor.
