Contacted to respond to Route 30 and Belmont Road for a multi tractor trailer accident. Photos from the scene indicated two tractor trailers and a pick-up truck were involved. We were advised that we were needed to respond to clear the Duie Pyle tractor trailer.

Photos showed that the Pyle trailer had a pick-up truck pinned between it and another tractor trailer. They also showed that the front end of the Pyle tractor was underneath the side of the other trailer.

Based upon the photos and information we were given, we dispatched a recovery supervisor, two of our heavy duty sliding rotator recovery units, a truck tractor, and contacted Null’s Recovery & Site Restoration for the spill control and clean up.

Upon arrival, one of the rotators hooked to the rear of the Pyle trailer and lifted it off of the pick up truck, the trailer was then rotated clear of the pick up truck so that the light duty rotation tow could remove the pick up truck from the scene.

One of the rotators hooked to the front of the Pyle trailer, the trailer was lifted off of the tractor and rotated clear of the damaged tractor and hooked to our tractor.

One of the rotators hooked to the back of the other trailer and lifted it off of the Pyle tractor. The other rotator hooked to the front of the Pyle tractor and rotated it clear from underneath of the trailer. Both rotators were then returned to travel position and the rigging returned to it’s respective location.

One of the rotators hooked to the front of the Pyle tractor and prepared to tow it from the scene. Our team assisted NR&SR with cleaning up the fluids spill. The damaged truck and trailer were transported from the accident scene to Null’s of Cochranville where they were placed in our secure storage yard.
