Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.
Storage facility hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.
Emergency is defined as any response with less than 24 hours notice.
All rates are one hour minimum unless otherwise noted. After hours calls are subject to rate X 1.5.
These rates apply to ordinary circumstances. Additional charges may be incurred for extraordinary circumstances, i.e. location of vehicle, weather, etc, which are at the discretion of Null’s Towing.

ACCIDENT/RECOVERY RATES
A scene safety fee of $150.00 will be charged on all accident/recovery invoices to cover the costs associated with HASS alert advanced warning systems installed in our equipment.
Electric/Hybrid Vehicle – All EV and Hybrid vehicle services will be billed at 1.5 times normal rate and will have a recovery supervisor assigned to the incident.

– + 2 and 4 Hour minimum are in place to cover cost of equipment and maintenance to the equipment that is dispatched to the scene. If a piece of equipment is on scene that has an hourly minimum in place, all other equipment on scene will be billed with the hourly minimum+
– When called to an accident scene, Null’s will dispatch the equipment that is requested, along with any additional equipment that is deemed necessary by our personnel to perform the recovery in the safest and fastest manner to reduce the liability of additional accidents, damage, and injury. If the equipment dispatched arrives on scene and is not needed, it may still be billed for.
– Administrative fee includes but not limited to preparing detailed narrative of the recovery performed, preparing information gathered for proper preparation of an invoice, interact with operator of the vehicle involved or owner at impound yard, escort person or persons to view vehicle and retrieve belongings, interact with insurance appraiser and escort same into storage yard, interact via telephone with insurance company representatives, faxing/emailing recovery invoices and pictures to adjusters and customers, assist in removing vehicle on pick up date.)
– Fuel and oil spills, scene support equipment, along with accident scene restoration services are provided by Null’s Recovery & Site Restoration.
– Any damaged or contaminated equipment will be charged to the job at cost plus 25%.
– After hours calls will be billed at time and one half.
– A 50% surcharge will be added to the towing/recovery portion bill for inclement weather. Inclement weather will be considered as follows: Heavy rain, lightning, snow, sustained winds of 20 mph or greater, heat index above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or wind chill below 35 degrees Fahrenheit. This determination will be made based on the current weather report for the zip code in which the accident occurred from the National Weather Service.
– A 50% surcharge will be added to the entire towing/recovery portion of the bill if our equipment and/or operators are placed in a hazardous situation. Examples, but not limited to: downed wires, broken utility poles, bio-hazards, water recovery, etc.
– The following surcharges will be added to accidents involving the following hazardous materials:
– 50% Flammable high flash point
– 100% Flammable low flash point
– 200% Class B Explosives or Chemical
– 300% Class A Explosives or Chemical
– 500% Nuclear
– Rigging equipment used on these jobs will be billed at cost plus 25%, incidents involving these types of hazardous materials can cause damage to chains, straps, etc., that will not be noticed immediately however these damages can pose a safety risk later. Therefore the equipment will be billed and destroyed.
– Any sublet equipment/services will be charged at cost plus 25%.
– Cargo will not be released until all towing/ recovery charges are paid.
– Nothing will be removed from a vehicle without the registered owner’s consent.
– Rented vehicles will not be released without the consent of the register owner despite any pre-existing rental agreements.
– Credit card payments may only be made in person with the card holder present with legal ID matching card information.
– Time starts when a call is received and continues until the last piece of equipment is available. If the operator of a truck is committed to a job for a load transfer, clean-up, etc., this makes the truck committed to the job as well and will be billed at full rate.
– Weight of vehicle is based upon the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) unless weight is higher than GVWR.
– Lower rates may be charged at the discretion of Null’s Towing, Inc.’s management.
– If an extended hold is placed on a vehicle for any reason, a reduced storage rate will be offered after current towing, recovery, and storage charges are settled.
– Recoveries involving casualties in excess of 80,000 pound GVW are subject to an additional $0.10 per every pound over 80,000 added to the hourly rate of each piece of recovery equipment on scene.
STORAGE FACILITY ACCESS POLICY
-Only vehicle owner, licensed insurance appraisers or adjustors, or police officials are allowed access to storage facilities. No other persons will be allowed access to the storage facilities without permission from the vehicle owner. (Exceptions will be made with trucking companies; in these cases the driver will be given access with verbal permission from the trucking company.)
-Items needed for a traffic stop tow to be released from storage yard:
-Valid driver’s license (Two licensed drivers if impounded for a license violation)
-Proof of vehicle ownership
-Valid vehicle registration
-Valid insurance
-Vehicles needing towed out may only be towed out by properly insured tow trucks. Proof of workers comp insurance and general liability must be presented at time of pick-up. If insurance cannot be presented, the vehicle will not be released.
– All traffic violation/police impound tows must be paid in cash, credit card, or certified funds.
– Not responsible for personal belongings left for more than 20 days. Vehicles left longer than 20 days will be considered abandoned and processed as such in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
– Vehicles and belongings may be retrieved during normal business hours upon payment of charges and or insurance claim number. There will be a $250 gate fee for any time other than normal business hours.
– Only vehicle owners or their designate are allowed into the storage yard. No one under the age of 16 will be admitted to the storage yard.
– Access to the storage yard requires closed toed shoes.
– Vehicle parts will not be allowed to be removed from vehicles.
– Null’s Towing is not responsible for any injury that may occur while on premises.
