March 20, 2012   This afternoon we were called to the Route 30 bypass eastbound east of the Lincoln Highway
overpass for a loaded overturned tractor trailer.  Two heavy duty sliding rotators, a heavy duty wrecker, truck tractor,
and Null's Recovery & Site Restoration (NR&SR) were all dispatched to the scene.  Upon arrival, a Frieghtliner tractor
and loaded 53' van trailer were found to have left the roadway, then overturning back onto the roadway with the wheels
towards the embankment.  The trailer appeared to have minimal damage.  At that point, it was decided to upright the
trailer still loaded to quickly re-open the roadway.  Mat-Jacks were placed under the trailer to lift the trailer so that lifting
straps could be placed under the trailer.  Once straps were under the trailer, the unit was winched sideways away from
the embankment.  The rotators were connected to the straps that were placed under the trailer.  The wrecker was
rigged to the front axle of the tractor to "spike" it.  The three trucks worked together to upright the unit with no further
damage.  Once upright, the heavy duty wrecker hooked to the tractor portion and separated it from the trailer while one
of the rotators held the front of the trailer.  Our truck tractor was then placed under the trailer.  The truck and trailer
were then prepared to be towed from the scene while NR&SR personnel worked to clear the fluids that had leaked from
the truck from the roadway.  There was also a storm drain that the truck traveled over top of filling it with dirt and debris,
the drain was cleared to ensure that there would be no flooding issues with future rains.

A HUGE THANKS TO THE SADSBURYVILLE AND POMEROY FIRE DEPARTMENTS FOR
THEIR ASSISTANCE AT THE SCENE ALONG WITH THE MUTUAL AID FIRE POLICE!
